Nestle invests in Western Jamaica’s Sports Future
Sports has historically played an important role as a catalyst for Jamaica's development. Jamaica's abundance of natural talent, and the continued corporate investment in sporting programmes, have continued to reap international recognition and a heightened sense of Jamaican pride.
For 23 years, Nestle, under the Milo banner, has been fuelling one of these programmes the Western Relays which embodies the best values of sport while upholding the quality and integrity of the sporting experience in western Jamaica.
In keeping with the brand's thrust of nourishing ambitions, Nestle has continued its monetary incentives to student athletes who have made it to the national team, to the value of $200,000, an incentive that will further aim to motivate them to put their best foot forward.
