Clarendon police seize high-powered Falcon rifle in Farm community

The Clarendon Police have seized a high-powered weapon in the Farm community of Effortville, where law enforcement authorities have been grappling with high levels of gang violence.
The Falcon 7.62 rifle with 11 live rounds was recovered during a joint police-military operation.
The police say during the operation, they spotted two men, one of whom was armed with the rifle.
The men ran leaving the weapon behind.
The police say they gave chase and held both men.
They are now in custody and are expected to be charged soon.
