Quallo should focus on boosting JCF morale, says Finzi-Smith
Security Consultant Robert Finzi-Smith says incoming police commissioner George Quallo should prioritise addressing morale in the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
Quallo, who is currently a Deputy Commissioner of Police with responsibility for the territorial operations portfolio, will take up the post of top cop on April 18.
He replaces Dr Carl Williams who went on pre-retirement leave in January.

Finzi-Smith says DCP Quallo is an excellent choice for police commissioner noting that he has the right balance of operational and administrative capacities.
According to Finzi Smith, police morale is low based on the public perception of corruption within the force.
Finzi-Smith said a stronger, confident constabulary force is needed to take on the country’s crime problem.
