No pitbull fighting planned for Montpellier show, says Agri Ministry

The agriculture ministry says a recent report of pitbull dogfights at the upcoming Montpellier Agricultural and Industrial Show in St James on Monday is inaccurate.

It says the event will feature a dog show and not dog fighting.

The ministry points out that pitbull fighting is illegal in Jamaica under the Cruelty to Animals Act.
