Elderly woman murdered in Salem, St Ann

The St Ann police are probing the stabbing death of a senior citizen in the parish on Wednesday.
The body of 88-year-old Nettie Rowe was found in her home in Runaway Bay at around 11:30 a.m with multiple stab wounds to the chest.
The police investigating the incident said it appears that the elderly woman may have been sexually assaulted.
The body was reportedly discovered by a relative who recently returned from overseas.
Rowe lived alone.
The police who are continuing their investigations, are yet to establish a motive for the killing.
However, it was reported that the woman’s house was ransacked.
