$69 million to be spent on Jamaica House, London

The Government is to spend £410,000 or $69.3 million Jamaican to host Jamaica House in London from August 5-13.

Culture Minister Olivia Grange says Jamaica House will serve as a hospitality facility to showcase Jamaica during the World Championships.

She told a post-Cabinet press briefing yesterday that several meetings are scheduled for bi-lateral discussions with some countries.

She says Jamaica as a tourist destination will also be a focus.
