Corporate Hands | Supreme Ventures gives back through Creators camp
Supreme Ventures has just wrapped the second staging of its Junior Creators Camp for children between the ages of eight and 11. The camp, staged at Campion College, St Andrew was aimed at exposing the participants who were from underserved communities to the exciting world of lego and robotics.
The subject matter was taught, as it was in the first year, by Marvin Hall and his 'Halls of Learning' team. "We worked with Marvin last year and were so pleased with the impact he had on the participants that we asked him to do it again this year," said Simone Clarke-Cooper, SVL's assistant vice-president, group corporate communication. "Not only did the participants leave with more knowledge than they came with, but also with more confidence and a greater sense of self, having achieved success in this new subject area."
