Linstead lock-up escapee charged with burglary and rape recaptured
The Linstead police have recaptured two more men who escaped from the lock-up.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ezroy Cohen of Banbury, Linstead, was recaptured as he attempted to board a taxi in the town centre about 11:50 last night.
He is charged with burglary and rape.
And 21-year-old Damion Daley, also of Banbury, Linstead, who is charged with arson, was recaptured in Riversdale about 7:30 this morning.
Cohen and Daley were among six men who escaped from the Linstead Lock-up on Wednesday.
Two other escapees, Alwayne Shakespeare and Daniel James, were previously recaptured.
Still on the run are 25-year-old Shane Wellington, who is charged with murder and 29-year-old Anthony Jarrett who is also charged with murder.
The police are renewing their appeal for the men to turn-in themselves.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is being urged to call the police.
Persons are also being reminded that it is a criminal offence to harbour a fugitive.
