Nine-year-old boy dies, dad injured in St Mary car crash

A nine-year-old boy is dead and his father in hospital nursing injuries following a motor vehicle crash in St. Mary yesterday.
It’s reported that about 7 o'clock in the evening, Cowayne Barton, who was a student at the Port Maria Primary School and his father went to buy ice cream.
While returning home, the father lost control of the car which then overturned.
The injured father and his son were taken to the Port Maria Hospital where Cowayne died and his father admitted in critical condition.
