St James' most wanted man shot dead, two cops injured in fierce gun battle

St James' most wanted man Nico Samuels has been shot dead and two policemen injured in a fierce firefight in the upscale community of Hatfield, Ironshore in the parish.
It's reported that Samuels otherwise 'Bowza' was killed in a house.
He had been on the police most wanted list for a 2017 triple murder in St James.
The Gleaner has obtained audio recordings of intense gunfire purportedly in St James Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, one of the two policemen injured in the shooting is said to have been seriously hit.
