Power supply problems disrupt water supply to NMIA, other areas

Published:Saturday | May 19, 2018 | 10:21 AM

The National Water Commission (NWC) says the disruption in water supplies to the Norman Manley International Airport and communities nearby is due to what it describes as power supply problems by the Jamaica Public Service Company.

The NWC says customers in Harbour View, Seven Miles, the Palisadoes Road and Port Royal have also been affected by the power supply problems at the Long Mountain Deepwell.

However, the utility company says normal service is expected to resume on or before 6 o’clock this evening.
