Fatal collision in Discovery Bay, St Ann

Investigators assigned to the St Ann Police are probing the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision that claimed the life of a man and the injury of another on the Discovery Bay main road in the parish on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Jerome Hall, a mechanic of Keith district, Browns Town, St Ann.

The Discovery Bay Police report that about 3:30 p.m. Hall was driving a Yamaha 600 motorcycle towards Ocho Rios.

Upon reaching a section of the roadway, he collided with a Toyota Corolla motorcar.

Both drivers sustained multiple injuries.

They were taken to hospital where Hall was pronounced dead and the other driver admitted.
