Experts say increase in number of incidents of men killing their children is cause for concern

Parents are supposed to nurture, protect and provide stability and security for their children, so when a child is murdered by a parent it raises an alarm.
Experts believe that although it is not a common occurrence in Jamaica, filicide – the deliberate act of a parent killing his/her child – does happen and should not be ignored, less it becomes the norm.
