Kingston teen charged over gun seizure

The Kingston Central Police have arrested and charged a man with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition during an operation on Hanover Street in the parish on Thursday.
He is 19-year-old Aldino Williams of Montgomery Avenue, Kingston 10.
The police report that about 11:45 a.m., a team was in the area when they saw Williams at a premises.
Upon seeing the Police, he allegedly removed an object from his waistband and threw it away.
The police say the object was retrieved and found to be one 9mm Smith and Wesson pistol with a magazine containing seven 9mm rounds of ammunition.
He was subsequently arrested and charged.
