Amber Heart coding instructor Shanelle McPherson guides NCB Foundation scholar Zachery Batchelor on the first day of his one-week coding journey at the New Coder’s Camp. Fifty youngsters between the ages of nine and 18 were given the opportunity to enrol in the New Coder’s Camp as the perfect way to end their summer vacation. The camp, which started on August 8, was facilitated by the Stony Hill HEART Academy. In addition to learning about coding, the camp also focused on nurturing soft skills such as teamwork, and public speaking, by allowing the participants to work in groups to solve various problems.
