The Christiana police have now charged three Manchester men who were held in relation to a robbery at a bar in Fine Grass district on Sunday.

Charged with three counts of robbery with aggravation, three counts of unauthorized possession of ammunition and possession of prohibited weapon are 23-year-old construction worker Jovaun Levy, otherwise called 'Joo', of Sedburg district, Osani Tulloch, otherwise called 'Sanie', of Sheilds Bush district, and 19-year-old Shamar Foster, otherwise called 'TJ', of Ballynure district.

Reports from the police are that about 9 p.m., two men, one armed with a firearm and the other with a crowbar, held up and robbed patrons of an undetermined sum of cash, cell phones, liquor and three poker machines with a combined value of over $2 million before escaping in a waiting Toyota Voxy motor vehicle.

The police were alerted, and they managed to intercept the getaway car along the Sedburg main road.

The vehicle was searched, and two cell phones were recovered.

The men then led the police to an abandoned building in the Hopewell community where a nine millimetre pistol with a magazine containing three rounds as well as the other stolen properties were recovered.

Levy, Tulloch and Foster were taken into custody and were charged after question and answer sessions in the presence of Justices of the Peace and they each provided a statement indicating the role they played in the robbery, according to the police.

They are scheduled to appear in the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday, April 24.
