Four men shot and injured in Clarendon
Four men were shot and injured in Slim Lane, Curatoe Hill, Clarendon, on Wednesday, in what sleuths theorise was a reprisal attack for the February murder of a man in the same community.
Well-placed Gleaner sources allege that the conflict arose from an ongoing feud over the construction of a shop, which has been blamed for causing a decline in revenue at another establishment.
According to reports, about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, the men were at a shop when a white Nissan Tiida motor car pulled up, and two men armed with handguns fired several shots before fleeing the scene.
The injured men were rushed to hospital, where one was said to be in critical condition.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is being asked to contact the May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-986-2208, Crime Stop at 311, or police emergency number, 119.
