Build your faith and change your circumstances forever

Published:Sunday | August 11, 2024 | 12:09 AM

Hello mi neighbour! If you’re struggling to survive: can’t pay your bills, always feeling sick and depressed over some of life’s crippling complexities and could do with a free breakthrough, don’t go anywhere! I’m about to share something that could leave you and your family in amazement! Yes, it could cost you but, not to worry. Won’t ask you to send any money to anybody or sow any seed into “my ministry”. No! no!

Just engage with a listening ear, an open heart, a desire for a positive turn around in your circumstances, and faith in the Almighty God! While on earth, Jesus encountered many persons who were sick, destitute and hungry. And, what did He do for them? Yes, He put lasting smiles on their faces and resolved their problems.

There was a particular lady who was hemorrhaging for 12 years non-stop, despite spending every cent that she earned on every doctor that was around. In the fullness of time, she heard about Jesus the Healer and went in search of Him.

Having processed what she had heard about this great Healer, she decided to apply her faith to her findings and got an outcome that blew the minds of those in her community! She was instantly relieved of her misery without expending a single dime! You may read about it in the Bible for yourself. It could build your faith and change your circumstances forever! Yessir!

Of course, that was just one example of what processed knowledge of God combined with faith can accomplish in the life of human beings. The operative words here are ‘process’ and ‘faith’. Not going to beat around the bush: what I am about to share with you will add new meaning to your life when processed and applied, by faith.

While reading the book of Isaiah recently, I came across a ‘remedy for all kinds of maladies’ in the 58th chapter. Bear with me. Here, God is speaking to the Israelites, and by extension all of us who are reading this column today. He knew that their unhappiness and discontentment were directly linked to wrong practices and wanted to help them!

Listen to the message that He sent to the oppressors: Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter, when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

What He was saying essentially was that, if they took care of the poor, their “light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear…. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here am I. If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail”… YESSS!

So hear this: If you

· Loose the chains of injustice

· Help to free the oppressed

· Share your food with the hungry

· Help to find shelter for the shelterless

· Help to clothe the naked

· Do not belittle others

· Do unto others as you would have them do unto you etc., joy and gladness will flood your path night and day. WOW!

And remember, do not allow this wealth of information to go to waste! Process, apply and share! Enjoy!
