CIBC Caribbean, through its ComTrust Foundation, has donated $2 million to the Salvation Army to support hurricane relief efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl. The official handover ceremony took place recently at the Salvation Army headquarters in Kingston. Here, CIBC Caribbean Managing Director Nigel Holness (centre) presents the bank’s contribution to the Salvation Army’s Derrick Mitchell, territorial emergency disaster coordinator, and Colonel Edward Lyons, chief secretary (second in charge of the Caribbean territory). The presentation took place on August 2. CIBC Caribbean Jamaica team members also assisted in preparing relief care packages for distribution.
