60 pounds of ganja seized in St Elizabeth, two men charged
Two men were arrested and charged by the police in St Elizabeth on Saturday after being caught packaging a large quantity of ganja in Arlington district.
Charged with possession of ganja and dealing in ganja are 39-year-old Romeo Daley, otherwise called 'Dick', of Arlington district, and Andy Eubanks, otherwise called 'Dummy' or 'Biggy', a farmer, of Vineyard district in the parish.
According to reports, acting on intelligence, cops went to a premises in the district where they saw the two men under a blue tarpaulin packaging ganja.
The men were taken into custody.
Further investigation revealed that the ganja weighed a total of 60 pounds.
A court date for the men is being finalised.
