Ex-most wanted man charged in St Catherine shooting

The St Catherine North police have charged 48-year-old Glendon 'Bull' Amos, once the parish's most wanted, in connection with a shooting in March last year.
Amos is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and using a firearm to commit a felony.
The incident took place around 10 p.m. on March 1, 2024.
It's alleged that police officers were on patrol in the McKenzie Drive, Sunny Side Housing Scheme area in Linstead, St Catherine, when they received information about a murder in Commodore.
The suspects had reportedly escaped in a blue car.
The police intercepted a vehicle matching the description, but upon stopping, four men, including Amos, allegedly exited with guns and opened fire before fleeing.
Amos remained on the run until his capture on January 29, 2025, in Moneague, St Ann.
He has since been charged with several crimes, including murder.
