St Catherine man found dead, suicide suspected

A St Catherine man who was reportedly acting "strangely" before locking himself inside his room was found dead Saturday in a suspected case of suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Lavar Barnes, also known as 'Log On,' of Waterford District in Guy's Hill in the parish.
It's reported that around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Barnes returned home but refused to eat or communicate with anyone before locking himself in his room.
Concerned relatives attempted to check on him the following morning, but after receiving no response, a family member forcibly entered the room around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Barnes was reportedly found hanging from the wall with an electrical cord wrapped around his neck.
The Guy's Hill police were called to the scene, where they processed the area before removing the body.
