Man shot and killed after alleged attack on cops at Brown's Town Police Station

An unidentified man was fatally shot after he allegedly attacked police personnel with a machete at the Brown's Town Police Station in St Ann on Friday.
Reports are that about 3:45 a.m., two men were seen on the station compound and were approached by police.
One of the men was reportedly armed with a machete and advanced towards one of the cops.
He was reportedly shot and injured while the other man escaped.
The injured man was rushed to the St Ann's Bay Hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead.
The Independent Commission of Investigations has since launched a probe of the matter.
