Jerry Butler, former director of the Inter-American Development Bank, will also receive an Honorary Doctor of Commerce degree.

In addition, two people will be awarded the 2025 President’s Medallion. They are Raul Webster, US-based urologist and philanthropist; and Dexter Frederick, medical doctor, founder and chief executive officer of Brain Expansions Scholastic Training, Inc, located in Florida.

Two alumni have been recognised as the Product Samples for 2025. They are Pastor Howard Henderson Holmes and Tishauna Mullings, social development practitioner.

The theme for this year’s commencement is ‘Rooted in Christ: Empowered for Service, Destined for Excellence’.
