Three men arrested over stolen vehicle in St Catherine

Three men are in police custody in connection with the recovery of a vehicle that was stolen in the Sligoville area of St Catherine on Monday.

They are being held on suspicion of larceny of a motor vehicle.

The matter remains under investigation.

The police reported that about 5:45 a.m., cops, acting on intelligence, intercepted a Toyota Probox motor car near the toll exit in Angels, Spanish Town.

Reports are that the vehicle belongs to a member of the security forces and was stolen from the Sligoville area.

The car was tracked by police and intercepted with three males on board.

Their names are being withheld pending further investigations.
