Westmoreland police probing death of man who fell from balcony

The police in Westmoreland have launched an investigation into the death of a foreign national who died after reportedly falling from a balcony on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Michael Mathias McLaughlin of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
Reports are that about 9:30 a.m. McLaughlin fell from the balcony of a house in the Kilmarrock area and sustained injuries.
He was assisted to the Savanna-la-Mar General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Whitehouse Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
