Police: Over 140 rounds of ammo seized in St Andrew operation

More than 140 rounds of ammunition were seized during a joint police-military operation in Goldsmith Villa in August Town, St Andrew on Friday, the police say. No one was arrested.
According to the Half-Way Tree police, the operation was carried out between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. at a premises in the community.
During a search, officers reportedly discovered a brown shopping bag hidden in a concrete block, which contained 114 rounds of 9mm ammunition and 30 rounds of .38.
The police say investigations are ongoing.
