#RioGoldRush: History-making Yona dives into semi-finals action

Having already created history as Jamaica's first Olympic male diver, Yona Knight-Wisdom will today attempt to advance to the final of the Men's 3m springboard competition at the Games of the 31st Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The 21-year-old is among 18 athletes who will line up for the semi-final of the event, which is scheduled to get underway at 8 o'clock.
The United Kingdom-born athlete booked his place in the semi-final when he amassed a total of 416.5 points to finish 11th out of 29 divers in yesterday's preliminary round.
The top 12 in today's semi-final will advance to the final this evening.
