Penn Relays 2018 | Holmwood retain 4x800m title

Holmwood Technical are champions again, after retaining their 4x800m Championship of America title on Friday at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia.

Led by a brilliant second leg of 2:08.54 by Brittany Campbell, who put her team in the lead after an early deficit, the Jamaicans hardly broke a sweat afterwards with Sasha Brown and Chrisanni May completing the job, as they stopped the clock at 8:47.33. Delverna Bromfield led off for Holmwood. 

The win was the 11th title for Holmwood in the event, as Neiman Goretti of Philadelphia, was second in 7:57.99. Spalding, the other Jamaican team in the final, finished eight in 8:15.39.
