Kingston College's Wayne Pinnock minted his excellent form this season, after registering an impressive 7.88 metres mark, to capture the Championship of America High School long jump event at the Penn Relays.
Pinnock, the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships Class One and Carifta Under 20 champion, erased the old record of 7.68m, done by former Calabar man Maurice Wignall in 1994.
Calabar's Alexander Thompson was second with 7.47m.
Cornwall College's Owayne Owens captured the high school boys triple jump with 15.25m, as Jamaica College's Malik Cunningham finished second with 15.14m.
