Jamaica’s senior women’s football team will be seeking their third consecutive victory in Group B of the Concacaf Olympic qualifiers today when they tackle St Lucia at the National Stadium starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Reggae Girlz will enter today’s encounter oozing confidence having thrashed Barbados 7-0 in their previous encounter at the same venue on Friday evening.

The Girlz who lead the group with six points from two matches, outclassed Cuba 12-1 in their opening match last Monday.

The Reggae Girlz have been firing on all cylinders so far in the competition, which has seen them netting 19 goals while conceding one.

The Jamaicans will be led by the experienced striker Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw who netted a late goal against Barbados. She is expected to receive support from Trudi Carter and Cheyna Matthews, who netted a brace each against Barbados.

Only the group winners will advance to the final round of the qualifiers, which will be held next year.
