Jamaica have been reinstated to third place in the Women's 4x400m relay final at the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

The quartet of Anastasia Le-Roy, Tiffany James, Stephenie Ann McPherson and Shericka Jackson originally crossed the line in a season's best time of 3:22:37 seconds, but was given a disqualification.

However, Jamaica was successful after lodging a protest and are now back on the podium with their bronze medal.

This confirms that Jamaica will finish the 2019 IAAF World Championships with 12 medals: 3 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.
