BIGDADDYKOOL, winner of this year’s Lotto Classic for the Governor’s Cup, collapsed and died after an exercise workout at Caymanas Park yesterday.
The Anthony ‘Baba’ Nunes-trained BIGDADDYKOOL was a bay gelding by Sorrentino out of Beware Baby. He was one of the main contenders for the lucrative fifth race of the upcoming Diamond Mile raceday, which takes place at Caymanas Park on Saturday, November 9.
In his last race at the track on October 6, the six-year-old finished fourth in the Jamaica Superstakes event behind winner SHE’S A MANEATER.
