Kavian Kerr secured Jamaica's second medal at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday.
The 19-year-old from St Jago High School produced a personal best distance of 7.90m in the Men's Long Jump to take the bronze medal.
The gold medal was claimed by France's Erwan Konate in a World U20 leading mark of 8.12m.
Jhon Andres Berrio jumped 7.97m to take the silver medal and set a national U20 record for Colombia in the process.
Jordan Turner, Jamaica's other finalist, finished 13th.
Jamaica's other medal is a gold, won by Tina Clayton in the Women's 100m final on Thursday.
