Natoya Goule in top form
TOKYO Olympics 800 metres finalist, Natoya Goule, hit top form today in Lievin, France.
Competing in a World Indoor Tour Gold meet Goule won her pet event in a world leading and new indoor personal best of one minute 58.46 seconds.
Goule got the better of previous world leader, Egley Nafuna Naleyana of Uganda, who finished a close second in a season's best 1:58.58.
Today's success completed back to back wins for Goule on the tour after her victory in Staten Island, New York recently. She will get a chance to pull off another victory on Saturday when she will be one of five Jamaicans who will compete in meet number five of the World Indoor Gold Tour in Birmingham, England. The meet will feature Olympic 100 and 200m champion Elaine Thompson Herah in the women's 60 metres.
