Central Champs | St Jago take maximum points from Steeplechase

St Jago High School’s Boys started day two of the Central Athletics Championships on a positive note as the runaway leaders stretched their lead at the top after picking up maximum points in the first track event finals of the day, the open Boys’ 2000-metre steeplechase, with a one-two finish.

Jalen Brown 6 minutes, 37.81 seconds won the event ahead of teammate, Caballero Brown 6:43.72 as Kemar Vernon of Charlemont took third in 6:51.22.
