Calabar's Nickecoy Bramwell looked supreme in the the Boys Class Three 200 metres at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium earlier today.

Bramwell has the fastest qualifying time of 23.05 seconds headed into tomorrow's half-lap semi-final after a mistake in the 100 final yesterday left him with a silver medal.

Bramwell, 11.06 seconds, looked good for a gold medal in that final, but was left in the blocks and found there was no catching Herbert Morrison's Tavaine Stewart, who won in 11.03.

In the 200s this morning, Ajae Brown of Ferncourt High, who was third in that 100 final yesterday, had the second-fastest time with 23.68 and Shavaughn Brown of Kingston College goes into the semi-finals with the third-fastest time of 23.89.
