Jamaica’s Jerone Ennis produced a solid performance to defeat Australia’s Billy Mcallister in the round of 16 men’s light heavyweight boxing tournament at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

Ennis, edged Mcallister 3-2 on points to make his way to the quarter-final round where he will square off against Wales’ Taylor Bevan on Wednesday, at 3:45 p.m. Jamaica time.
