STATHS through to fifth Manning Cup semi-final

ST ANDREW Technical High school (STATHS) booked their fifth straight trip to the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup semi-finals after defeating Wolmer’s Boys’ School 1-0 in their quarterfinal game at Stadium East this afternoon.

Omari Laing scored in the 89th minute to seal victory for STATHS and eliminate Wolmer’s from contention.

The result also meant the end of participation in the Manning Cup for Haile Selassie as Jamaica College secured their place in the semi-finals along with STATHS.

Earlier, Jamaica College defeated Haile Selassie 2-0 in the first game of the double header.
