Edwin’s Terrelonge cops Class III girls’ 100 metres at GC Foster Classics
Edwin Allen’s Theianna-Lee Terrelonge bounced back from yesterday's disappointment at the CariftaTrials, where she false started, with a big win in Class III girls’ 100 metres at the GCFoster Classics today at GC Foster College in Angels, Spanish Town.
Terrelonge, with doubts surrounding her fitness ahead of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships, showed no signs of injury as she clocked a fast 11.82 seconds in a positive 2.8 metres per second wind.
It was the fastest time amongst Terrelonge’s peers for a confidence booster going into Champs, where she is the defending sprint double champion. It was her first 100 metres race of the season.
