#PennRelays2023 | Edwin lead four Jamaican schools into girls’ 4x400m final
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, USA:
Four Jamaican schools are through to the final of the high school girls’ Championship of America 4x400 metres after the preliminary round this morning at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
Top seed coming into the meet, Edwin Allen, were the fastest qualifiers with 3:40.38 minutes to win their heat, as Holmwood Technical with 3:43.61, Hydel High 3:43.61 and St Catherine High 3:46.90 also advanced to the final after winning their heat.
The final, which will run at 3:00 p.m. (Jamaica time) today, also includes Bullis High from Maryland, USA, the second fastest qualifiers with 3:40.62 seconds.
