Brandon King named captain of Tallawahs

Top-Order batter Brandon King has been named captain of defending Caribbean Premier League champions Jamaica Tallawahs.

King, who is currently on West Indies duties in the ongoing 50-over World Cup qualifiers, was the heaviest scorer last season, amassing 422 runs from 12 innings at an average of 38.36.

King replaces Rovman Powell who was traded to the Barbados Royals.
