Abigail Martin of St Jago High gets ready to throw the discus to 53.55 metres to capture the girls's Under-20 title at the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) at the National Stadium today.

St. Jago’s Abigail Martin claimed the girls' Under-20 discus title at the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) today, as she produced a best effort of 53.55 metres, achieved on her fifth attempt at the National Stadium.

Camperdown’s Brittania Johnson finished second with her best effort of 48.88 metres, while her twin sister Brittanie took the bronze medal with 43.74.
