Jamaica’s Roshawn Clarke and Jaheel Hyde are through to the semi-finals of the men’s 400 metres hurdles as teammate Assinie Wilson failed to finish his heat at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, today.

Clarke, competing from heat four, punched his ticket following a third-place finish in 48.39 seconds.

Hyde, competing in heat five, finished second, crossing the line in 48.63 seconds.

Brazil’s Alison dos Santos is the quickest through, with 48.12 seconds, which he achieved by winning heat one.
