The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association’s (ISSA) has banned Kellits High School from the ISSA/WATA daCosta Cup and Innswood High School from the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup football competitions.

According to a release from ISSA, its disciplinary committee met on Friday and found that both schools had used ineligible players throughout the competitions which are approaching the business end of their first rounds.

According to ISSA, not only are the schools barred from taking any further part in this season’s competitions, but will be suspended next season as well.

The release went on to point out that there may be further sanctions to come as ISSA continues to investigate the schools in a bid to root out those who have been complicit in breeching the rules.
