ORLANDO, Florida (CMC):

The bright lights of Major League Volleyball are converging on central Florida, and they’ve brought a distinctly international flavour with them.

Among the star-studded rosters announced for the 2026 AdventHealth MLV All-Star Match is Jamaican sensation Aiko Jones, who has been selected from the Atlanta Vibe.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 28, at the Addition Financial Arena, the All-Star Match will celebrate the elite performers of the 2026 season.

The event will see the league’s top talents from across the nation and the globe descend on Orlando, showcasing the remarkable depth and international reach of MLV.

“From record-setting fan voting to the remarkable depth of talent across these rosters, All-Star Weekend shows the momentum behind Major League Volleyball and its place on the global stage,” said Commissioner Jaime Weston.

“In Orlando, fans will see the spirit of our athletes and the fierce competitiveness that defines this in the major leagues.”

The selections, determined by a combination of fan voting, player input, and league analysis, recognise athletes who have delivered exceptional performances this year.

Indy Ignite libero Elena Scott led all players in the fan vote, which smashed previous records with over 12,000 ballots cast.

Every MLV franchise will be represented across the two 12-player squads. The league-leading Indy Ignite lead the way with five selections, followed closely by Dallas and the host Orlando Valkyries with four apiece.

The two teams will be guided by coaching icons Dan Meske of Louisville and Beth Launiere, the longtime former steward of the University of Utah programme.

Jones, a standout opposite hitter for the Vibe and a former University of Louisville Cardinal, will suit up for Team Launiere. She joins a formidable squad that includes fan-favourite Morgan Hentz of Grand Rapids and the Orlando duo of Kaz Brown and setter Chompoo Guedpard.

Team Meske counters with its own firepower, headlined by last year’s fan vote leader, Leah Edmond (Atlanta Vibe) and this year’s voting champion, Elena Scott.

The rosters also feature a strong contingent of eight returning all-stars from 2025, including Edmond, Hentz, Guedpard, and Brown.

Team Launiere All-Stars: Aiko Jones, Regan Pittman-Nelson, Mimi Colyer, Paige Briggs-Romine, Morgan Hentz, Lydia Martyn, Azhani Tealer, Mia Tuaniga, Brooke Nuneviller, Kaz Brown, Chompoo Guedpard, Shara Venegas.

Team Meske All-Stars: Leah Edmond, Raina Terry, Sofia Maldonado Diaz, Natalia Valentin-Anderson, Layne Van Buskirk, Blake Mohler, Elena Scott, Emily Londot, Charitie Luper, Teodora Pusic, Marin Grote, Marlie Monserez.
