The colourful and influential clergyman, the Reverend Al Miller, has made an appeal for Jamaica's most wanted Michael Christopher 'Dudus' Coke to turn himelf in to the police.

Miller, who was negotiating the possible surrender of Dudus before the Labour Day incursion into Tivoli Gardens by the security forces, has already assisted in getting two members of the Coke family to the police, who wanted to question them.

Now, Miller is making a written appeal to a man he knows reads the newspaper.

Christopher:

This is a difficult time for all of us as a nation. Internationally, the nation has had a battering, with negative effects on the economy, tourism and our national image. Christopher, you bear much pain, but ease the pain of your family, community and nation. Face the issues, the legal process, and trust God.

I know this is not what you wanted to have happened; to see the loss of lives and the suffering of so many as a result. Carrying this weight, coupled with your pain, must be great.

Do not allow your life to be taken by others prematurely. Live for something; don't die for nothing.

You know, truth will win out eventually for the good of all and that good will ultimately triumph over evil.

It is important now that we not only do what is good, we must all do what is right. Do not let FEAR drive you, but rather, let FAITH arise. Stand, live, believe in your dream to see better, and justice for the poor and the youth. No matter how long it takes, go through what is necessary and work to fulfil that dream. It is possible with God.

I implore you Christopher to do the 'right' you know. Doing right comes at a price and demands personal sacrifice. Each of us must choose to do what is right, for the greater good of ALL - the nation. It is only then better is assured and a good heritage guaranteed for our children.

The opportunity for real change is now ours. Each of us must play our part. Christopher, as you know, you have a huge role to play in helping the process of change. You can only serve it alive.

I ask you to come forward now and help create change. Be assured that I and others will do everything to ensure your safety, and we have the commitment of the authorities.

Make contact and TRUST GOD WITH THE REST. Do not give up! Come in and make it better.

God can only bless the 'RIGHT'.

Yours,

Al Miller
