Kartel sleeps in jail

Popular dancehall artiste Adijah Palmer, better known as Vybz Kartel, spent last night in police custody after submitting himself to the police yesterday morning.

Palmer, along with his attorneys, turned up at the Greater Portmore Police Station in St Catherine days after the lawmen listed him as a person of interest.

"The interviewing process has begun and will continue tomorrow (today)," an informed member of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, told The Gleaner yesterday.
