BPM Financial will be expanding to Montego Bay in early 2011, the company said Tuesday.

"We would want to have a physical presence in Montego Bay because already we have a growing client base in the area. It's not going to happen in 2010 but probably early 2011 we hope to set up an office in Montego Bay," said managing director Peta-Rose Hall.

Hall made the announcement at the launch of a new pension product that BPM Financial is offering to individuals.

BPM Financial, which has been around since 1993, now operates out of one office located on Holborn Road, Kingston.

The company - formerly known as Barita Portfolio Management Limited - has approximately 10 products on the market along with a portfolio of 20 company-sponsored pension funds that it manages.

It will offer similar investment and pension fund management services in the Montego Bay office.

Hall decline to put a figure on the size of the BPM Financial portfolio, and was cautious on disclosing further details on the planned build-out of the company's branch network.
