Bruce, you must listen
THE EDITOR, Sir:
Recently, Prime Minister Bruce Golding told Labourites at a Jamaica Labour Party conference that he did not care what is written about him because he would not be distracted from the work he had to do.
It is very obvious that Mr Golding is not listening to Jamaicans. Mr Golding is not listening to the Jamaicans who can't afford to send their children to school because of the high cost of the 'hidden school fees'. It is very obvious that Mr Golding is not listening to the teachers who are not adequately paid; it is obvious that Mr Golding is not listening to the Jamaicans who find it hard to pay bus and taxi fares.
'Bag a mouth'
It is obvious that Mr Golding is not listening to the hundreds of Jamaicans who are losing their jobs. It is very obvious that Mr Golding is not listening to the Jamaicans who want him to speak the truth about the Manatt, Phelps & Phillips and Dudus issue. It is very obvious that Mr Golding is more a 'bag a mouth' than action.
So one can understand why Jamaica is in its present state because Mr Golding, who is the prime minister of Jamaica, does not care about how Jamaicans think and what they want to be done to improve their lives.
It comes to a situation where Bruce Golding does not care about Jamaicans except his few bigwig friends.
Bruce, you need to start to listen.
